Elton Hubner is the founder of Eyes Multimedia and the person behind the hundreds of projects that have helped businesses connect with their audiences and grow.
He is a Canadian award-winning multimedia journalist with a B.A. in Journalism, M.A. in Media Studies and international experience as a reporter, photographer and video producer.
Elton was born in Brazil into a family of German and Italian immigrants. In his teenage years, he discovered his passion for storytelling and started to learn about other cultures. By the age of 19, he had been to 25 countries and learned six languages.
He was also a world-class runner and talented illustrator for several years before graduating from university and starting to write and photograph for newspapers, blogs, magazines and the German international broadcaster Deutsche Welle.
After pursuing a masters’ degree in Media Studies at the Technical University of Berlin, he immigrated to Canada and found home in Vancouver, British Columbia.
His passion project The Fit Generation is a 43-minute documentary about the lives of active seniors on Canada’s West Coast. He has received awards from the London International Filmmaker Film Festival (2019), San Francisco International New Concept Film Festival (2018), IndieFEST Film Award (2018) and Impact Docs Awards (2018).
