Being a member of BNI is about more than increasing profitability. Many of our members are solopreneurs, and one of the many reasons we joined was to connect and collaborate with other likeminded professionals.
After having previously worked in offices that organized charitable fundraisers over the holidays, BNI UP members discussed how they could "give back" this holiday season. We are collecting food and cash donations that will go to The Greater Vancouver Food Bank. We are also donating the proceeds from the meeting dues along with other member donations to an outreach charity that helps needy people in El Salvador, run by one of our members, Jony Bonilla.
