At the Neil Squire Society for the last 34 years we have helped people with mostly physical disabilities get access to the workforce and secure quality long-term employment. We assist with skills training and development, computer training, resume and letter writing. We help people with disabilities learn about, and acquire assistive technologies, too many different types to mention. People that qualify are already employed, self-employed or volunteering and if their disability is a barrier to the workplace and work related activities. We also do fee for service work with medium to large size organizations in assisting them with proper ergonomics in the workplace from a preventative standpoint. Another aspect of our fee for service work is helping existing workers that are coping with a disability to access assistive technologies and alternative work methods to remain employed.
